As part of their commitment to the local London community, Simply London helps young people from Southwark, London, gain work experience to increase their chances of finding employment and accessing the career they aspire to. The scheme, called “InSpired to Work”, offers work placements and mentoring for young adults living in the South London borough of Southwark.
Lauren Stephenson, a young student at London South Bank University, is currently gaining marketing experience at Simply London, under the watchful guidance of her mentor, Sylvie Froger, the agency’s Director.
“The opportunity that I have been given to work with Simply London has provided me with invaluable experience that will be greatly beneficial to my potential marketing career”, says Lauren, “Sylvie has been a very supportive and encouraging mentor who has helped me to improve both my confidence and practical skills. It has been great to work with someone who is so committed to, and passionate about, their work”.
James Keen, Partnerships Coordinator at InSpired to Work, added: “The placement undertaken by Lauren at Simply London Relocation with Sylvie as mentor exemplifies the very best in what we aim to achieve in our mentoring and work placement programme!”.
