Blackheath village in London: the gem of Greenwich?

Hidden in the centre of the huge area of Greenwich in East London, Blackheath has the appeal of being a village close to the City. If you are looking for a family-friendly area which has shopping, a park and restaurants nearby, then don’t look any further!

Blackheath offers all of this. There is an excellent state primary school, excellent transport links and house prices that are largely less than those in Zone 1 and 2 – Blackheath truly has everything you could wish for.

This area is just a 14 minute train journey from London Bridge and a 22 minute one from Charing Cross, making it an ideal location for City workers.

Average property prices in Blackheath are £473 per week to rent a 2 bedroom property or on average £567,602 to buy.
